US Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command is Hiring a PROGRAM ANALYST Near Philadelphia, PA

Duties

  • You will analyze the Public Works Department execution of program funding, historic trends, and changes to budgetary requirements.
  • You will assist the commands regional program directors in the development and review of program controls by providing site-specific information.
  • You will develop reports, analysis, graphs, databases, and other products to track execution against developed controls and budget targets and to capture historic trends.
  • You will identify areas of over execution, potential charging errors, or other anomalies in execution of the commands programs.

  • This position may require occasional travel from normal duty station. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft.

Qualifications

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Explaining all funding variances in comparison to established controls and execution plans. 2) Tracking funds execution by managing and analyzing charges to identify irregular or inaccurate information. 3) Gathering and consolidating information from various sources to analyze and update databases and spreadsheets. 4) Advising senior management officials on funding execution against budget targets to identify cost overages and funding excess or shortages.

OR:
Have a combination of experience and graduate education as described which, when combined, is equivalent to 100% of the qualification requirement.
